Firstly, my name is Claude and I am committed to guiding immigrants towards a successful life in Israel – because I know how hard it can be!
Secondly, let me tell you my story.
A crazy rollercoaster ride that began with a leap of faith.
You see, I moved for Israel for love.
This was almost 15 years ago…
AND WHEN I LANDED IN ISRAEL – I HAD NO FRIENDS, NO JOB , AND NO MONEY!
Sounds familiar?
But it all unfolds about 9 years back, following years of soul-searching when a revelation struck me like lightning.
I’d realize my life’s purpose.
The purpose of my life, and my gift, is teaching other people – helping them grow and achieve their dreams and goals.
It was always right in front of me…
In addition, I had been doing it my whole life… and I had always been great at it.
So, with Israel as the startup capital of the world, I decided to open my own sales training business as a starting point – of helping other people get what they want.
And I created a detailed, step by step plan.
But, my road to entrepreneurship wasn’t easy.
I had to establish my consulting company while holding a full-time job at a high-tech software firm.
Every moment that I wasn’t clocked in at my full-time job, was spent working on developing sales training materials, and acquiring new clients.
I focused on my target audience, reaching out across Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Ramat Gan, Jerusalem, Bat Yam, and Holon.
And finally, I secured my first corporate customers.
But, what struck me the most during my sales training workshops was the aftermath.
Participants loved the workshops for their value, but it was the private conversations that ensued that truly captivated me.
After almost every workshop, one or two people would come up to me and begin confiding in me, not just about their struggles in sales but about their life’s struggles.
One pivotal moment was when a student sought personal guidance, and offered to pay me for a one-on-one session outside the workshop setting.
As a struggling entrepreneur, I embraced the opportunity.
WE HAD A FEW MEETINGS / SESSIONS, AND EXECUTED A PLAN TOGETHER… SUCCESSFULLY!
Soon, similar requests followed.
One seeking job interview preparation.
Another asking for self-confidence building sessions.
Another asking for job interview + CV creation advice
And another asking for life advice.
And on and on…
Moreover, as time passed the realization hit hard and the truth was undeniable.
I was not only adding value, but making a huge difference in their lives.
It was like watching a fast-forward movie of personal growth.
Everyone had made huge progress in just a few sessions, thanks to the power of working together.
The truth is, I never planned to be anyone’s official anything. But as more and more people sought my guidance, the “Career Counselor” and “life Coach” labels just stuck.
It’s quite humbling, actually.
Unlike many who aspire to become certified coaches before their first client, this awesome fulfilling profession came to me.
And I love helping people because it makes me feel good to see them succeed in their goals.
And that, short story long, is the origin of my journey into life coaching and career counseling in Israel.
Now fast forward 9 years, and I’m proud to say that I’ve helped hundreds and hundreds of English speakers in Israel from around the world!
